Returns Policy
To exercise your right of return, you must inform us of your decision clearly by phone or email. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item or confirmed proof of return, whichever occurs first.
Consumer Rights
As a consumer, you have the right to return within 14 days of purchase if a used device has a defect that is not self-damaged. This applies to faults not caused by misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification.
Return Deadlines for Physical Goods
In the case of a sales agreement involving the transfer of ownership of physical goods, the deadline for return shall expire 8 days after the date on which you took possession of the goods, or on which a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier) took possession.
Multiple Items & Batched Shipments
For orders involving multiple items shipped separately, or items delivered in batches or parts, the cancellation period begins from the date you or a nominated third party took possession of the last item, last batch or part.
Service Agreements
In the case of sales agreements involving services, the 7-day return period shall start on the date of receipt of the product or confirmation of the service agreement.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modification
- Products with broken or missing seals after delivery
- Software, digital downloads, or activated licence keys
- Items returned without original packaging or accessories
- Products purchased under a final sale or clearance promotion
All return requests must be submitted to our customer care team before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Obiwezy reserves the right to assess and verify the condition of returned items before processing any refund or exchange.
Return Process
Follow these steps to initiate and complete your return or exchange quickly and smoothly.
Contact Our Customer Care Team
Before sending anything back, get in touch via phone, email, or live chat. Have your order number ready and describe the issue clearly. Our team will confirm your eligibility and issue a Return Authorisation.
Package the Item Securely
Repack the item in its original packaging where possible, including all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase. Items damaged due to poor packaging may affect your return outcome.
Drop Off at a Return Location
Bring your packaged item to any of our designated return locations in Lagos or Abuja. Our in-store team will verify the item and log your return on the spot.
Assessment & Verification
Our technical team will inspect the item to confirm the reported defect and verify it is not self-inflicted damage. This typically takes 2-5 business days.
Refund or Exchange Processed
Once verified, we will process your refund or exchange and notify you by email or SMS. Refunds are typically completed within 5-7 business days.

What to bring: Your order confirmation (digital or printed), a valid government-issued photo ID, and the item in its original packaging where possible.
