HP Pavilion x360 15-cr0037wm - Intel Core i3 15.6' 4GB RAM
The HP Pavilion x360 15-CR0037WM is a mid-range convertible 2-in-1 laptop PC. As the centerpiece of the device, the 15-CR0037WM features a 15.6-inch touch-screen mounted on a pair of 360-degree hinges. The display sports sharp Full HD resolution, IPS wide viewing angle technology, and support for an active digitizer pen input besides finger touch. HP has included a compatible HP Digital Pen in the package of the Pavilion x360 15-CR0037WM.
Inside, the 15-CR0037WM features the 8th Generation processor with integrated graphics, 4GB of RAM, and a 1-Terabyte hard drive supplemented by 16GB of Intel Optane memory for data storage speed boost. The Core i3-8130U dual-core chip offers great processing power for the average PC user. A faster processor like the Core i5 or i7 can be beneficial only if you regularly do demanding computing tasks such as media production. In day-to-day computing activities, the difference between the i3 and its faster i5 and i7 siblings is negligible. We only wish the HP 15-CR0037WM had more RAM, since 4GB isn’t suitable for heavier multitasking scenarios. It’s fine only for a couple of browser tabs and apps running simultaneously. 8GB is a standard nowadays. Also, hard drive storage is much slower than newer solid state drive storage. Thankfully, HP has included 16GB of Intel Optane memory that boosts speed of the HDD. But still, it lags behind SSDs.
HP says the battery of the HP Pavilion x360 15-CR0037WM provides a battery life of up to 10 hours and 30 minutes with mixed laptop usage.
